I decided to take a different approach to this site compared to my work over on Light Rail Blogger. My new home on the web will talk about sustainable lifestyles - and why it's more important to know what's outside your front door and not your car door (or something like that). While I massage continue to massage the tag line, the rest of my blog will feature my photo commute from Hollywood to downtown Los Angeles in addition to celebrating the people and places here in the City of Angels.

I decided I'll need a faster ride in Los Angeles, especially since I'm trying the car-free for a month to see how it goes.

I'll admit, I got attached to Vern. Just as people get attached to cars, there's an even deeper connection with a bike. Especially the one used for a daily commute. Vern and I have been through a lot. We survived triple digit temps, a bike pile up, and a face plant into a wall when the brakes failed. You've been good to me buddy! I feel kinda bad trading you in for something newer and sexier...

Anyway, I found out a friend of mine has been wanting a bike, so I thought I would pass it on. @NTinAZ will get good use out of Vern.

As I prepare to leave Arizona, it looks like Vern found a forever home right here in Phoenix.

I'm partnering with the Holiday Inn to sponsor the Osborn light rail station in Phoenix. The station looks good today, don't you think?
